Common Questions

What is a concurrent connection?

A concurrent connection is a WebSocket or a fallback connection. Usually, you would have one connection open per browser tab or app.

What happens if I exceed the pricing plan limits?

Don’t worry your traffic will not be capped instantly. We’ll notify you via email, and you will have seven days to upgrade to a bigger plan before being capped.

What are events?

Each message and observable event sent and delivered is counted as an event. If a user sends a message to 10 other users, it will be counted as 11 events.

Do plans have different features?

All features are available on all plans, including the free plan

What about encryption?

All traffic is end-to-end SSL encrypted
